Meet our Team

I believe that everybody should be able to live, grow and thrive, feeling safe and it is my goal to be part of creating a future in which everybody is protected from abuse, neglect, exploitation and harassment by fighting oppression, exploitation and injustice.
My career has taken me through teaching and holistic early help with some of the hardest to reach young people and their families and into business improvement, managing improvement programmes in local government, safeguarding boards and education. I now work with businesses, the Premier League and their clubs, governing bodies, schools, charities and local authorities to train leaders, empower staff, improve process and assess the effectiveness of safeguarding practice.
As lead consultant I deliver much of our programme of work, while supporting our associate consultants (more information about them coming to the website soon) to deliver great products every time.

I take the lead on our marketing and digital strategy, with a special focus on creating ways to empower children and adults at risk, in line with our organisational mission. This is a huge area of focus for us at the moment and we are building and delivering on our strategy to become an empowering influence on relevant social media platforms.I manage all aspects of our marketing, overseeing social media and website development. My creativity and expertise in social media helps Keep Governance and Safeguarding to reach into new markets and customers. I am working towards my Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer qualification with our partners at Creative Alliance, as well as completing my IDTA Freestyle Dance Teaching qualification at Body Language School of Dance, and the Freedom Church Leadership Academy. Before joining Keep Governance and Safeguarding, I studied Sociology and Performing Arts.
Our Associate Consultants
Keep Governance and Safeguarding engages with a small team of associate consultants. Our associates deliver high quality work on behalf of the business which we rigorously quality assure to ensure our clients always receive the quality they have come to expect from Keep Governance and Safeguarding.

After over 35 years in education, three Headships and on the leadership team of all the schools he has been involved with, he took the decision in 2025 to move into supporting children, schools and leadership through his own consultancy, Stride Education, and as part of the team at Keep Governance and Safeguarding. Adrian works with us to deliver our consultancy services, drawing on his extensive professional expereince both the state and private sectors, teaching and leading across primary and secondary phases and as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Prevent lead.
What an achievement it is to be able to say that it’s been 10 years of Keep Governance and Safeguarding! We are proud to be celebrating this important anniversary marking a decade of reducing the risk of abuse, exploitation and harassment. Andy Churcher set up “KeepSafe” in 2015. It started with delivering safeguarding training in schools and has grown to become the strong organisation it is today who works with some of the United Kingdoms most famous organisations.
Keep Governance and Safeguarding continues to grow as our customers stay with us, and recommend us to other people. If we get the opportunity to work with you, you tap in to a wealth of skills to support improvement across your safeguarding practice, management and governance including business process analysis and organisational governance and an in depth knowledge of safeguarding.
Motivated by his faith and his desire to fight oppression and injustice, Andy Churcher established KeepSafe in 2015. He says, "with the words of What's the Matter Here? by 10,000 Maniacs and Isaiah 58 v6-11 ringing in my ears since the late 90's I have wanted to protect and support the most vulnerable in whatever way I can". He began to align his work with his passion and KeepSafe was created, to help organisations safeguard vulnerable people, whether that be children, adults at risk, students who are away from home for the first time or young sports players who may feel they owe something to those who have supported them.
